About Us
TemariChallenge is a group of experienced temari stitchers who help each other create new designs, adapt existing designs in other crafts to temari and figure out designs seen in books, websites and other venues. We freely exchange ideas and answer questions that are beyond the basics of temari. We thrive on the exchange of thoughts and experience with the goal of exploring and digging deeper into the ancient craft of temari as an art form.
For the most part, we are familiar with the basics of temari and are interested in applying that knowledge in creating new designs or interpreting those not published in English. We love to support each other through mishaps in deciphering a new design. If you like to be challenged in design creation or deciphering or if you would love some help in a particular design, welcome to the group!
