| Joan Z. from Massachusetts, USA This is an S12/20 face. It is another temari that spoke to me. The pattern is from the Japanese book Creative Temari page 34, ball 3. It took me months to figure out how to stitch this temari and in the end I made a mistake in the marking. The temari in the book is done on a C8/16, but I didn't figure that out until after my temari was finished. I love the look of this temari and hope someday that I will be able to get an interpretation of the Japanese directions. I stitched each center "star" individually. I think the directions tell of another way. |
