This page is in memory of Judy Shorten, a dear friend to
the Temari Challenge group. She died on August 22, 2006.

Judy was an innovative fiber artist. Many of her temari creations are considered “outside the box.” We fondly remember her Temari 101, America the Beautiful, Horn of Plenty and the Cookout temari. The entire series of the Japanese court dolls is precious!

Judy's unlimited creativity in temari has inspired all of us to reach a little further in our own imaginations. Her infectious laugh, sharing heart, and artistic knowledge will be greatly missed and her spirit of temari will live in all of those who knew her.
